Tzatziki

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of plain Greek yoghurt
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2-4 garlic cloves - pressed
  • 4tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Peel and coarsely grate the cucumber. Salt it well and let it stand aside for a few minutes.
  2. Hold it in your hands to drain the water off and put it in a bowl with the yoghurt.
  3. Add the pressed garlic and mix.
  4. Add the olive oil and the vinegar and mix again.
  5. You can also add 1 tsp of mint or oregano or even dill.
